On Saturday July 7th I visited Simon Reece's Wildlife Reserve in Westbury sub Mendip where we saw this stunning Painted Lady - my first of the year. We were not sure whether it was an "immigrant" or not but it was great to see. I only saw one last year - in Shetland of all places. It is amazing where these butterflies get to!
